FAQ – CRANE SERVICES
It is important for both our company and our clients to clearly define the crane operation task. Therefore, our operators can visit the requested site to assess the situation and provide recommendations for a professional and cost-effective execution of the lift.
Mobilization Fee (Deployment/Setup Fee) Includes:
Base road fee
Oversize fee
Administrative charges
Counterweight transportation
Cost of escort vehicle
The overweight fee payable to Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt., according to 36/2017 (XI.18.) NFM decree, is included in the mobilization fee.
Standard deployment route: Győrújbarát → work site → Győrújbarát (if the equipment is not stationed at the depot, this may vary).
Not included in the quote: Special permits (e.g., fees for area occupation permits).
Crane Operator Fee:
In all cases where the operator is an inseparable part of the equipment, the crane fee includes the crane operator’s fee.
The crane operation task cannot be understood solely as the lifting itself. The crane work begins upon arrival at the worksite, followed by coordination with the on-site representative regarding the crane location (including utility checks). Next, the crane is prepared for lifting (stabilization, counterweight installation, and boom setup), after which a test lift is performed with the help of the supervisor. Only then is the actual lifting task carried out. Returning the crane to a travel-ready state is also considered part of the crane operation duration, representing the reverse of the steps described above.
In cases where the access road to the worksite is restricted by signage, or when the road, street, or district is managed by the municipality of the given settlement, a traffic permit and a site occupation permit are required.
A lifting plan and lifting procedure instructions are required in the following cases:
When lifting is performed with two or more cranes simultaneously
When lifting takes place in the vicinity of public areas
When lifting activities are conducted near overhead high- or low-voltage power lines
When the plant manager of the site requires it due to ongoing technological processes
Legal reference: EBSZ (47/1999. (VIII. 4.) GM decree)
Lifting may only be carried out if the load to be lifted is properly secured to the lifting device’s load-handling equipment, and if the crane operator is continuously guided during the lift.
The task is performed by a slinger and/or signal person, who ensures the correct selection and use of the rigging, its safe attachment to the load, and compliance with other relevant provisions of the EBSZ regarding supervision.
Note: The crane operator is not the same person as the slinger and/or signal person.
Legal requirement: Prescribed by EBSZ (47/1999. (VIII. 4.) GM decree)

According to Section 142 (3) of the VAT Act, reverse charge applies if both parties are domestic taxpayers and neither party has a legal status that would exempt them from paying the tax.
